AUSTIN, TEXAS — This year’s Horror for the Holidays Expo is coming to downtown Austin with a stellar lineup of horror celebrities, brand-new attractions, special screenings, exciting panels and Q&As and a few classic horror movie anniversaries worth celebrating. From iconic final girls and cult horror favorites to one of the artists responsible for bringing one of horror's most memorable creatures to life, this year's guest lineup offers fans an opportunity to meet the people behind some of the genre's most beloved characters and films.

MEET THE SPECIAL GUESTS

​HEATHER LANGENKAMP — "Nancy Thompson" from A Nightmare on Elm Street

One of horror's most iconic final girls, Heather Langenkamp became a genre legend as Nancy Thompson in the original A Nightmare on Elm Street and returned as Nancy in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and, in a unique twist, as herself/Nancy in Wes Craven's New Nightmare. Langenkamp has continued to make her mark on the horror genre with appearances in projects including Netflix's The Midnight Club, Little Bites, and the upcoming Last Chance Hotel.

Fans will have the chance to meet one of the actresses who helped define horror's "final girl."

LISA WILCOX — "Alice Johnson" from A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 & 5

She battled Freddy Krueger—and did it with a nunchuck. Lisa Wilcox is beloved by horror fans for her role as Alice Johnson in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master and A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child.

Beyond the Elm Street franchise, Wilcox has also appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation, giving Trekkies another reason to celebrate her appearance. Come meet one of Freddy's most memorable adversaries and one of the genre's beloved final girls.

JONATHAN BRECK —"The Creeper" from Jeepers Creepers

Something wicked is coming to Texas. Jonathan Breck, best known as the terrifying "Creeper" in Jeepers Creepers 1, 2 and 3 joins the lineup in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Jeepers Creepers. And this isn't just any appearance. Breck will be making his only in-costume appearance in Texas this year at Horror for the Holidays Expo. That means fans will have a rare opportunity to come face-to-face—and camera-to-camera—with the Creeper himself.

​BRIAN PENIKAS — The main behind The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers

What happens when you combine one of horror's most recognizable creatures with the artist who helped bring him to life?

You get a very special Horror for the Holidays experience. Brian Penikas, the key designer and makeup artist behind The Creeper in Jeepers Creepers, will be on hand to transform Jonathan Breck into the iconic creature for his special in-costume appearance on Saturday only. An award-winning special effects artist, Penikas' extensive credits include Face/Off, Army of the Dead, The Hunger Games, and Spider-Noir, among countless other productions.

KELLI MARONEY — "Samantha" from Night of the Comet

Another beloved final girl joins the Horror for the Holidays lineup. Kelli Maroney is a cult-film favorite whose genre credits include the legendary Chopping Mall, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and Night of the Comet, where she played the unforgettable, gun-toting cheerleader Samantha. Her career also includes appearances in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Scare Package 2 and the upcoming The Barn 3. Whether you grew up watching Night of the Comet and Chopping Mall, or simply love cult horror, this is your chance to meet one of the genre's most memorable stars.

MARC PRICE — "Ragman" from Trick or Treat

You might know him as Skippy from the '80s television classic Family Ties. But horror fans know Marc Price as "Ragman," heavy-metal-loving teenager at the center of the cult horror classic Trick or Treat. Released in 1986, and featuring appearances by metal legends Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons, this cult classic celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Not only will you be able to meet Marc, he will be the main feature in the new Saturday Fright Showcase at Horror For the Holidays Expo. Marc performs his stand up comedy routine (yes, he's a comedian!) followed by his live commentary to a special screening of Trick or Treat.
