Brought to you by Blood Over Texas, the 12th annual Horror For The Holidays Expo is a holiday experience for horror fans. What started as a small vendor market has spawned into a monster of an event. Part market and part convention, Horror For The Holidays Expo (HFTH) has evolved into a one-of-a-kind event. There’s no other event like it in the country.
Started in 2014 at Spiderhouse Ballroom with a handful of vendors, HFTH was created to offer the community a chance to shop from local dark and horror vendors during the holiday season. It also gave horror fans their own special holiday experience. Over the years, the event continued to grow and is now the biggest and longest running holiday horror event in Austin.
Bringing out approximately 2,000 attendees, it features over 100 vendors, celebrity guests, an Evil Santa, a large Krampus Parade, craft classes, the Blood Over Texas Film Fest, a new Cosplay Contest, and tons of holiday horror fun.
With the addition of the kind of attractions you’d find at a traditional horror convention — and a new move to a hotel — it’s also moved into the spotlight as one of Austin’s only horror-specific conventions. With a holiday twist.

Blood Over Texas (B.O.T.) is a horror event company located in Austin, Texas. Started in 2011 as a horror community group, B.O.T now produces high quality and heavily curated horror events throughout the year. Our events are “unique horror experiences.”
